Benjamin Wren Founder & Technology Adviser
I'm Benjamin Wren, founder of Two Wrens. I help owners and directors make confident technology decisions, improve the systems their teams rely on and turn practical opportunities in automation and AI into measurable business improvements.
With more than 16 years' experience across business-critical systems and delivery, I explain the options in plain English, stay independent of vendors and remain accountable from the first conversation through to implementation. A lot of that work has been with e-commerce and mail-order businesses — platforms, integrations and the ops systems behind the website.

How I help
Focused reviews to get started. Then clear recommendations — and, where it makes sense, I help you build or integrate the solution. Especially useful for e-commerce and operations-heavy SMEs.
-
Need a clear technology direction?
Technology Advisory
Make sensible technology decisions with clear strategy, vendor guidance, roadmaps and project oversight.
-
Unsure where AI will pay off?
AI Opportunity Reviews
Find realistic uses for AI, understand the benefits and risks, and choose the right first pilot.
-
Online and ops systems no longer fit?
Business Systems
Improve the platforms behind the storefront — e-commerce, ERP, purchasing, warehouse, courier and internal systems — so orders, stock and fulfilment stay in sync.
Results, not theory
Reviews find the problem. Delivery often means the systems behind e-commerce and operations — built, owned and still running.
-
£38m+ turnover on one platform
E-commerce consolidation
Migrated three legacy e-commerce sites into one system for a business turning over more than £38 million — with data cleansing, APIs and internal systems in the same programme.
-
Live UK store with phone and multi-cart orders
UK e-commerce
Built a UK e-commerce store with a custom integrated telephone order system and multiple cart types for different buying journeys.
-
99% fewer dispatch errors
Fulfilment
A Sage-integrated picking and dispatch system with barcode verification cut fulfilment mistakes and gave operations full visibility of where training would help most.
Outcomes belong to those businesses and their circumstances — not a promise of similar results.

What happens after a review
A review is how I get clear on what matters. What follows depends on what the business actually needs.
-
Review
A focused look at the problem — AI, processes, systems or legacy risk — with clear findings and priorities.
-
Recommend
Honest options: improve what you have, buy something better, or build what's missing. No preferred supplier.
-
Deliver
Where useful, I implement — automation, business systems, integrations and e-commerce operations — or stay on as fractional technology leadership.
Many clients start with a review and stay for delivery. Others just need a clear answer. Both are fine.
